Like most things, it gets better the 2nd time around. The design features 2 X 4 and 2 X 3 Douglas Fir lumber, 1/2" Lauan 4' X 8' panel, a bundle of white oak flooring, and 2 1/2" caster wheels. The original had a top width of 42 inches to fit in the kitchen. The second version for Joe & Chris has a top width of 49.5 inches (48" sheet plus border). The sides sit in rabbets of the adjacent 2 X 4s. The 2 X 3s were ripped from 2 X 4s because the ones in Home Depot were junk.
